Tomorrow morning I am heading to Miami with my boyfriend for the most much needed vacation ever! Im flying Virgin so I will be writing to you guys as Im flying through space. I have never really been to Miami? Has anyone gone? Any good resturants or vintage stores! Help!

Tights: I have had for years, Jacket: I bought it in high school, Shirt: Vintage, Flower Crown: Made by me, Bag: Irregular Choice, Shoes: H&M
I woke up at 5am for some reason today...I was reading this new book before bed and my mind went into overdrive. Its about changing your perception of the world. Everyone around you is so negative and day in and day out it can slowly dissolve your positive spirits subconsciously. This book is a reminder of all the great things there are to experiance in everyday life and reminds you to focus on those alone. Today im getting my Tokyolux samples made (cross your fingers for me). My new music addicition is this international radio station called Paris Chanson. Its all in French and I never know whats going on but thats the beauty in it.
Anyone have any good book recommendations?

Kelly Cutrone said it best..
The more successful you become, the more people will write lies about you on the internet, both your own employees and anonymous commenters on websites. Your success is an invitation to others to use you as a blank slate onto which they can project there fears, aspirations, and prejudices. This has been a harsh pill for me to swallow at times, but ultimatley I would rather be the one living the live then observing only to make catty comments about it.

Today i had a fitting at the Bob Mackie showroom in Burbank for an upcoming editorail shoot. Bob Mackie is the king of sequins and best known for his outlandish costumes that have been worn by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Mackie has dressed Madonna, Judy Garland, Lady Gaga, Cher, Diana Ross, Elton John...the list goes on forever. When you walk in the showroom its like you have died and gone to fashion heaven. I fell in love with this alienesque sequin bodysuit. Im hoping we can work it into the shoot somehow! After the fitting I hit up Barnes and Nobles and grabbed some books for my trip this week. I couldn't help but stop in Urban and buy the holographic kitty cups. They were on sale because Im the only person who would ever purchase such a thing.
What do you think of that body suit?

Nothing feels as good as being stress free and able to relax. Whether its that time of the month, a stressful week at work or just treating yourself, everyone needs to have set aside time to unwind. These are some of my favorite things to do after a long day..
1. Light tons of candles and incense throughout the house and leave the windows open..The mixture between the fresh air and natural aromas can be intoxicating.
2. Fill a bubble bath with lavender or eucalyptus oil. If you want to get really fancy add tea bags or epsom salts...this is the ultimate mental getaway.
3. Cover your bed in blankets and pillows, make sure you have pure silence and just breathe. If your into it meditate, it can cure almost any stress and worry within 15 minutes.
4. Order take out and watch your favorite guilty pleasure movies in your pajamas.
5. Make a natural facemask out of honey, bananas and oatmeal...so good you will want to eat it.
6. Bach Flower Rescure remedy is my life saver. Anytime I am worried, scared, or stressed I take a few drops and almost instantly feel better.
7. Read a book outside or walk barefoot in the grass. Something about the earth makes us at peace. They say if your sad or stressed and you hug a tree you will become grounded again.
8. Make a pot of herbal tea. Some of my favorites are lavender and chamomile and ginger... perfect for soothing nerves.
9. Take a yoga class or buy an instructional DVD. Whenever I can't make it to the studio I do it from home. Only 12 Minutes of yoga a day can transform your life. I watched a documentry about it called Enlighten up. I must say since I started doing yoga I am way less cranky and sore on a daily basis.
10. Last but not least have a variety of fresh flowers and plants in your home. Flowers always make me feel better, i guess thats why they are given to you when your sick. The best natural air filter there is is a good hearty plant. Indoor plants filter out toxins in your home which can even help improve your health!
These are a few of my tips for those bad days or stressful nights. I hope this finds someone out there who is in need of relaxing. What are a few of your favorite things to destress?

I fell in love with Dime Pieces new summer 2010 look book. Everything from the styling to the graphics is visually stimulating. This is the passage that goes along with the images...
At some point we stopped expecting young people to be productive, intelligent members of society and began to think of them as gullible, indulgent consumers. We explore the view of today’s youth by venturing into stimulants, self-worth and politics with trippy imagery and an audacious approach. We’re taught to know “facts” but critical analysis is lost to effort to simply look like you understand. With this in mind, we tell the story of a girl who sits on the Capital’s lawn with beer cans and our symbol of ‘freedom’ as her cushion. Throughout her journey she finds herself falling through space and time, attempting to hold on to her breath…the only thing that she finds real and constant. She awakens in a disillusioned state, engulfed in a modernized jungle of drugs and sex. How much do we actually know about ourselves, and our place in America? In this story, details in the images are blurred to symbolize the lies and inaccuracies we’re told and what we’ve failed to question. What is too much? What is too fast?
Whats your thoughts on this?

I teamed up with Peta2 to make a mini movie called Change! I have black hair in the movie.. I am the villian as well as the super hero! A T-shirt, Hoodie and Pin were made to go along with this Campaign an proceeds will be going to Peta to help educate people about animal cruelty. My friend Evelyn Black made the art work for the shirt. She is so talented so also made Tarinas Barbie artwork for Mattel! This is really important to me being such an avid animal lover. I think having pets can change your life. I got my cat Waffle while I was really sick last year and she has been the best friend anyone could ever ask for... other then her chewing up my shoes and pooping in my bathtub. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Check out the movie HERE or click video at the top of the page and let me know your thoughts!! The whole article is over at www.Peta2.com
You can purchase the Pin, Hoodie or T-shirt HERE!

Dress: Made by me, Vest: Made by me, Belt: Vintage but I spray painted it, Shoes: Vegas Airport, Headband: Part of my new collection out this summer
This weekend was the KIIS FM Wango Tango concert at the Staples Center. Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, Usher and Kesha were headlining the event. Last year I was one of the judges helping to chose which bands would get to play the show! When we got there the Korean pop group Wonder Girls were just hitting the stage. They are so rad to watch live. I have been hearing a lot about them over the past year, it was nice to see them in action. I got to watch Keshas sound check and I must say... although I am not a fan of her at all she does have a amazing voice....Im not talking about the rapping. I think her style is pretty fun but im just not into the music. I have never seen so many Justin Bieber fans in action! So many little girls running around in heels and mini skirts with matching Bieber shirts crying! It was insane I have never seen anything like it....
This is taking me back to my Nsync days. I like to pretend they didn't happen. Maybe I was one of those girls for Nsync.... No I was one :(
The style this year was very casual and laid back. My favorites were Kelly Rowlands shoes and Keshas homeless chic outfit.
Kesha was holding a mannequin head beacuse __________?

We shot this on Friday and it was seriously a good time! My friends are so fun. Click video at the top of the page or watch it HERE.

I came across a blog where a girl did a DIY on these! They are amazing!! Im not sure if I could ever really walk in them but it would be worth a try!!! Lady Gaga meets Rocky Horror.
Thoughts?

The website Cut Out And Keep has featured me as the Crafty Superstar of the week! They featured my DIY blogs and did a little interview with me! I love this shoot, Tori did my makeup and my cousin Ryan shot it super late at night. Im runnng down to my printer to get some Coco Tote bags printed up. I have 5 rolls of film on my table... I should probably get them developed as well!
Do any of you still use film? Has the whole world gone digital??
Last night was the 12th Annual Young Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles. I got my makeup done around 4:30 by Tori and had a clothing panic right before I left. I made my dress last minute inspired by the Jeremy Scott Cave Girl collection. The chains and feathers I had on the top fell off right before I left the house, I ended up gluing my hair clip to the front of the dress and grabbed some flowers for my hair. We made it to the event about 15 minutes before the show started where we hit up the crapet and the photobooth inside. I ran into Nikki Reed and had to say hello. Im such a huge fan of the movie thirteen. She was seriously one of the most down to earth coolest girls I have met. Im in love with her nude bodysuit with rainbow sequins.

I ended the night with Sushi and a bubble bath. Whos outfit is your favorite? Mines Nikki Reeds!

I was always the first person out during spelling bees. I would hide in the bathroom hoping they would skip and forget about me... never happened. People confuse not being able to spell with not being smart. Kids use to pay me in highschool to write their research papers ... I made a lot of money through the years but eventually I got caught and was in some big trouble!
Any other horrific spellers out there?

Chanel Mademoiselle has been my favorite fragrance for years! I don't know what I would do without it.
Whats your go to scent? Oh and oils.. I collect them, can't get enough!

Last night was the Young Hollywood Nylon party at the Roosevelt hotel. i saw so many Disney stars there it was crazy! They had a gifting suite upstairs with jeans, headphones and got2b hair products... pretty rad if you ask me. The pr intern girls working it were so rude to us my manager had to tell the head of the event ...she whipped them into shape. You don't treat people like shit because you want to look important. Other then that it was such a rad party with unlimited Pop Chips and champagne with cute pink bendy straws. I can't get over how much I love Ashley Greene's dress! Its by far my favorite of the night!
I saw this photo of Mischa Barton online before I left. It was the inspiration for my outfit...im not even a fan of her but i love this photo! She was dressed as a hooker on set... most stylist hooker I have ever seen by far!

You can purchase the shirt im wearing at www.cocodecoeur.com
Who's look from last night is your favorite?
I have had this image on my desktop for ages and Im loving these Chanel glasses. I decided to get crafty and make a pair of my own. This is the easiest DIY ever!

What you will need is a pair of black sunglasses and white sticker letters. Peel off four of the "C" stickers and place them backwards. One minute later you have your own Chanel inspired glasses!

Surprisingly you can see pretty normal out of them! I used round glasses they kinda make me look like a bug but you get the point! Im thinking rayban style would look better.
Thoughts on this DIY?

A few of the shirts from my line Coco De Coeur. We were featured on Trend Hunter and Fashion Indie this week! We are adding some colored shirts to the next collection. Anything else you would like to see other then colors?
Shop the collection at www.cocodecouer.com

Head to toe denim use to be a big fashion faux paus. It looks like it could be a new trend this summer. I love my jean jackets and cut offs but I don't know just yet if you will see me wearing them together.
This is all I can think of...

Thoughts on mixed head to toe denim? HOT or NOT?

Today we did a 50s/60s inspired shoot in a yellow skylark in the Hollywood Hills. We were all freezing but our hair looked great! For dinner we ordered vegan chinese takeout which was delicious other then the fact it took two hours to arrive because the driver was doing a sketchy drug deal out front of my house...I felt like we were a bad act in Too Wong Fu.
I love how different every decade is. Whats your favorite?

Hat: H&M, Shirt: Gifted, Pants: PopKiller, Shoes: Flea Market and I studded them, Glasses: Topshop
This was downtown in the fashion district. Im getting ready to shoot an editorial followed by trailer park scouting. Last night I filmed an online promo commerical for Skintimates in my bathtub... it was pretty funny. You guys should be able to see it soon. Working on some new DIY blogs for this week as well.
What do you want to see more of on my blog this month?
